Ron Cohen, NRG’s Principal started recruiting in 1997 for Salem Associates in midtown New York. He created a new practice area for Salem within the Telecommunications & Technology Industry to include some of the nation’s leading tech firms, global telecom companies, VAR’s and business partners.
After six years and building a highly effective team at Salem, Ron founded Northstar Resources Group, Inc. which continues to build great teams by placing top Sales, Sales Engineering and Leadership Professionals across the U.S.. Today, Ron’s clients include multi-billion dollar industry leaders and VC-funded startups.
Ron’s earlier career includes enterprise telecommunication sales for Western Union, MCI and IDB Communications and during his tenure at Hitachi, USA, (now IPC) he successfully launched the Trading Floor Solutions division or “Turret Systems” sales to global banks and financial institutions in New York City. After thirty years as an individual contributor, manager and team-builder, Ron understands the challenges and motivations required to be successful in various and challenging sales environments and can quickly identify the best candidates for your position(s) and organization.
Ron is a husband, dad and mentor and pursues his passion for helping others, pursuing speaking engagements, and playing live music.
